Is there a age limit on how to dress?

At what age is one too old to wear low slung jeans? I talking about a adverage sized women (7-9 jrs). I'm 50 and still wear low cut jeans & distressed jeans (no belly showing-tops to the waist band) and I'm not ready to wear "mom jeans" or jeans that come up to the navel, very uncomfortable..... still don't want to appear as one of those old ladies trying to look young. My sister tells me its time to stop wearing jeans and to switch to more of a dress pant is she right?
when I say low cut/slung I don't mean so low that my stuff shows, the lower the jean the longer the top or even tuck shirt in if really low cut. I do sometimes wear skinny legged jeans if I wear a western boot on the outside and on ccassion a heel but generally a straight leg. And it seems that majority of jeans today(at least the cute ones) are stretch so they tend to be tight but that is how they are made to be worn. Thats what my sister says get away from the tight/low jeans and go for the dress jean......really?

as long as you are not muffin topping or showing the undies then i say if you got the body then wear it as fot the pantsuit thats fine for a job but when your just going shopping or casual dinner then rock the jeans
