Looking Good and Plus Size
To look good Plus Size, aim to feel comfortable in your clothes. Be realistic about your size and if you're a size 16, buy a 16. Don't opt for the smaller size because you can't come to terms with moving up. If you feel uncomfortable and are constantly adjusting and pulling at your clothing, you'll not only look uncomfortable, you'll feel awkward and your confidence will be dented.
Secondly, it's a fallacy to say that black is flattering. Black may give the illusion of slimming but it can also bring out dark circles under the eyes as well as lines. You'll be feeling drained, self-conscious and introverted in no time at all. The solution - wear bold colours and combine with dark separates. If you're wearing a dark or black top, use brightly coloured neck scarves or accessories to give yourself a splash of colour.
The importance of wearing a well fitted bra is not only good for your health, it's also good for your appearance. Stand up tall, back straight and feel good about your ta ta's. You can create an extremely flattering appearance, especially if you're curvy, by choosing wrap dresses which are ideal for enhancing your cleavage and flattering your body shape. As for the arms, three quarter length sleeves are extremely flattering and deflect attention away from the breasts. Run screaming from high nick sweaters!
The belly can be the hardest area of a woman's body to maintain as fat is generally stored around this area. You can still look fabulous by wearing loose, flowing tops such empire waist blouses which nip just under the bust and flow down. This creates a wonderful optical illusion of elongating the body. Banded tops define waistlines and can be very flattering for those with a few extra curves. Stay away from short tops, or, wear longer tops underneath them. Baring your belly is an absolute no no.

Fashion Question? Pants?
Ok I have a pair of red cargo capris, they are about middle calf length and have some pockets and ties on them. They look a little like these http://www.polyvore.com/dockers_drawstring_cargo_capri_hampton/thing?id=16133123 But I don't know what kind of top would match with these? Like a black shirt? Would patterns be too busy?
Or do these pants sound hideous and should I just ditch em?

Those capris have a lot of potential, the possiblities are endless. You could wear red, black or prints. They would all look nice. Red can be worn with just about any color except I wouldn't recommend pink or purple and definitely not orange.
